Jackson | Newborn

So I got to cuddle not one, but TWO sweet babies today!

Lucky me, right? :)

Jackson is a lady killer already, let me tell ya. I mean, check out these lashes.

UGH! I melt. I can't handle it. 

Bailey and Justin were super laid back for first time parents. Which 

is awesome! It was so great working with these three. I cannot wait to continue to

watch this precious little man grow and capture his first year! 

Congrats you two.

Finley | Newborn

I'm going to start off by saying, this face best describes how Finley felt about

her newborn shoot today... 

Not. Amused. 

But, just as we were about to give up, somehow, a miracle happened and she decided

to cooperate with me. She fell into the deepest sleep and I knocked her whole session out in

about 45 minutes. Momma was even able to relax for a little while after I left because she was

asleep so soundly! I seriously enjoyed all the sweet baby snuggles that I got

to have today though. I can't wait to share these with you all!

Finley Anne | Fresh 48

Funny story about little miss Finley's session today. It was actually intended to be a birth story. 

I received a phone call yesterday morning at around 5:20 saying that Kaytie was in

labor. (Which had been long awaited!) I get up, begin to get ready to head over, when not

15 minutes later, I receive a text message that she's here! 

This sweet little one made everyone wait for quite some time, but once she was

ready, she waited for no one. Ha ha! 

Her birth story as a whole is seriously amazing though. 

Be on the lookout for Finley's official newborn session coming this weekend.

In the meantime, here's your sweet squishy baby fix. :) 

Congratulations Kaytie and John! She is beautiful.

 

Sam seemed to enjoy his sink bath much more than Finley. Ha ha.

 

And now for my two personal favorites.

Baby Hammock | Gender Reveal

When I first asked Kenzie what she hoped her baby would be, her

response was "A girl. Well. Actually, I don't care. I just want to find out so that

I can start buying stuff." 

Well, get ready to go shopping because

baby Hammock is a BOY!

 Cooper James, coming this November.

Y'all, I am beyond excited to be documenting every step of this little boy's venture into

the world. Let me tell you, he is loved already. There are so many people that 

cannot wait to meet him. (Myself included!)

Kenzie has been one of my good friends for a very long time now, and I know

that she and Kaleb are going to be the best parents. 

Congratulations! 

Kennedy | Newborn

Do not let this adorable little face fool you. This precious doll gave me

a run for my money today. She certainly put up a fight when it came to going to sleep.

She's got iron-strong willpower at just five days old.

But boy was she cute, so that made it okay. The longer she fought,

the longer I was able to cuddle her. Ha ha! Life's about the silver linings right?

I loved this session with miss Kennedy Grace today. It was great to finally

meet her and catch up with her sweet momma! 

Welcome to the world, sweet little thing.

Adam + Erika | Engagement

This afternoon was perfect picture weather! I'm sure I'm

not the only one here welcoming this warm weather. 

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful engagement session!

This won't be the last time you all get to see Erika and Adam.

You can expect to see their wedding in October as well!

Congratulations to the both of you, I look forward to continuing to work with you both! 

Hammock | Christmas

Note to self: Next time I have a photo shoot outside in the winter, wear gloves!

Being out in the cold and losing feeling in my fingertips was definitely worth it for this

session though! I had a blast working with Kenzie and Kaleb. We couldn't stop laughing. They

are such fun people to be around. Not to mention a beautiful little couple!

Love them both to pieces. 

We took these at the Christmas Tree Barn in Hendersonville which was such a cute little place.

I just love this time of year, and everything that comes with it!
